Cajeput Oil:

Cajeput has an analgesic effect due to its monoterpene consituents, and may support arthritis, musle aches, and rheumatism. It also has an anti-inflammatory and rubefacient action, which supports inflamed muscles and joints and increases blood flow to and from the area.

Rosemary Oil:

Rosemary oil has an antinociceptive effect as seen in studies with rat models where the effect was attributed to serotonin receptors and endogenous opioids. Rosemary also has an anti-inflammatory effect due to the reduction of leukocyte migration. It's antispasmodic effect was shown in a study done with guinea pigs where rosemary inhibited muscle contractions in the guinea pigs. Rosemary's other therapeutic actions include analgesic, antiarthritic, and rubefacient.

Clove oil:

Clove's therapeutic actions include analgesic, antiarthritic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and rubefacient. It has been shown to inhibit lipopolysaccharide actions to produce an anti-inflammatory effect.

Wintergreen oil:

Wintergreen oil contains methyl salicylate, which is a natural organic ester produced by plants that can be used to support pain caused by arthritis, backaches, muscle strains, sprains, bursitis, and tendonitis. It produces a cooling effect on the skin and can block pain signals going to the brain while decreasing inflammation.
