Motility Activator consists of standardized extracts of  Cynara cardunculus  and  Zingiber officinale  and supports gastrointestinal motility and transport. This patented combination has been the subject of two human randomized controlled trials.

Proper gastric motility is needed to ensure a healthy gut. Gastric motility allows food and bacteria to be swept from the small intestine to the large intestine; if this function is impaired, it may result in bacteria populating in the small intestine. Prokinetics, including Ginger and Artichoke, may help support proper gastric motility.
